African Villages
Celebrate Community Church has purchased four African villages from World Hope Zambia.The villages are Sikatale, Sianankanga, Duunka and Mulyabe. It was incredible to hear that one of the villages had been holding all night prayer sessions seeking God's help and blessings. Two weeks later they were notified by World Hope Zambia of the impending purchase by Celebrate.
One of God's promises comes from Isaiah 8:10-11 -
"Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as day. The Lord will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring." It is our desire that Celebrate will continue to be like an ever-flowing spring of God's love, sharing what we have with the least of these.
Our first trip to Zambia to minister the Gospel through word and deed to AIDS orpahns and their caregivers is schedule for March 2008. We are also planning for a trip mid Oct. 2008. For more information please contact the church office.
